Can Body Language Tell if She is Interested?

Many of us have been in the situation where it is simply impossible to tell if a date is truly interested or simply being polite. One of the most tell-tale places to check, especially for women, is her feet. Generally, people’s feet point where they unconsciously want to be. If a woman is pointing her feet towards you or swinging her legs in a kicking motion in your direction, then she wishes to be closer to you. If her feet are pointing away from you and at the door, then it may be time to ask for the check. Legs can also give a message, depending on whether they are crossed or not. According to experts, the slow opening of a woman’s legs, which is often done unconsciously, is one of the most flirtatious messages her body language can send. Another common sign of a woman’s interest is if she plays with her hair. This is often done to capture a man’s attention and to expose the bare, soft skin of her face and neck. While it is true that some women do play with their hair a lot in general, it is important to pay attention to whether your date tosses her hair around more often when she is near you. If she also looks at you right after straightening her hair, then it is a good sign that you have your date’s attention. The mouth is also a common place for body language to express itself, as aroused women will tend to suck on their food more. While it is helpful to watch your date’s body language on an outing, it may seem rather creepy if you end up staring at parts of her body and wait for something to happen. Fortunately, the table between the two of you can also show signs of a woman’s attraction to you. If she places numerous objects between you, she may be using it as a "shield." However, if she readily removes objects from the table and tries to leave an open space, she may be more inviting for you to join her on the other side of the table.
